Dry Creek Cemetery

Boise, Idaho
Dry Creek Cemetery
Dry Creek Cemetery contains nearly 13,000 burials, and is several cemeteries combined. Established in 1865, it was one of the earliest cemeteries around, and the Pioneer section's old tombstones stand as silent monuments to their courage and bravery in settling Boise valley. The western section, with it's flat stones, was known as Syringa Cemetery for years, before being combined with Dry Creek Cemetery in 1990.

Located on the very edge of the Cemetery is Idaho's Veteran's Cemetery, with it's neat rows of white markers marching on, and the stately flags flying homage to our military heroes.

Come tour the cemetery, and feel the legacy of peace and serenity reflected by these photos.

The database of burials in Dry Creek Cemetery is found online on the cemetery's web site.

If you have additional information on these or any other persons buried in the Dry Creek Cemetery, please share with us. We are particularly interested in information about their families, (parents, siblings, and/or children) and photos, and would love to include any that you send us. Please contact the county coordinator.
