BEAN. William I. Straight and Miss Letha Twitchell, both of Boise, were married Wednesday evening in this city, Justice of the Peace Dunbar officiating. The bride is but 15 years of age, but her stepfather and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Bellew, gave their consent to the wedding.

COLEMAN. Wedding of Miss Oral Sebern and H. E. Coleman
A beautiful out door wedding was held at the country home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. V. Sebern, near Meridian, Wednesday evening of last week. Just as the sun was setting, Miss Oral Sebern and Mr. Homer Earl Coleman, with their bridal party, assembled on the lawn beneath beautiful rose trees, with an artistic garden setting, where the Rev. L. G. Knight, of the Fairview Congregational church, conducted the marriage rites.
The bride was fair in her wedding robes of white brocaded satin trimmed with pearl ornaments. Her veil of filmy tulle was held in place with a chaplet of pearls. She carried bride's roses. She was attended by her sister, Miss Edith Sebern, who wore pink and carried pink roses. Little Elizabeth Roberts was the ring bearer. The bridegroom was attended by Glenn Sebern, brother of the bride. Just before the bridal party assembled on the lawn, Mrs. Don Yost sang “O Perfect Day.” After the ceremony she sang “I Love you Truly.” Mrs. W. N. Yost played the wedding march. DEWELL. Double wedding in recorder's office. Two young girls escape commitment to Reform school by means of the Marriage Ceremony.
The urgent need of a juvenile court was demonstrated yesterday when two girls, aged 14 and 17 years, were married to two soldiers from the barracks with whom they had been keeping company. Edith Love, the elder girl, married James O. Dewell and her companion, Viola Graham, was united to Roy E. Wroten. The girls, it is stated, had been in the habit of visiting the men at their quarters in the barracks. The police had watched them and they were brought before Sargeant Howry and given a sound lecture which apparently had no effect. Yesterday morning, about 4 o'clock, the girls were escorted to their homes by the soldiers. The police notified the parents of the children and the girls were brought before Justice Dunbar for the purpose of having them committed to the Reform School. In order to give the parties interested an opportunity to make up their minds, Justice Dunbar postponed the hearing until 5 o'clock in the afternoon. At that time the parents of the girls consented to their marriage with the soldiers and the double ceremony was performed by Justice Dunbar in the office of County Recorder Cuddy. 10 Feb 1905 Idaho Statesman, Boise, ID

HEDGES. Wedding of Mr. Jess Hedges and Miss Minnie Minden
At high noon on Thursday, June the 14th, occurred the wedding of Miss Minnie Minden of Moscow, and Mr. Jess Hedges, in the handsomely furnished home in Meridian, which the groom had in readiness for his bride.
The house was artistically decorated with vases of peonies and pink carnations. The couple was preceded by two little ring bearers, Fern Lucile Burns and Clement Hedges, who carried the rings hidden in rosebuds, on a large pink satin pillow. Pourtiers of honeysuckles and snowballs formed the archway under which the pillow was placed. The impressive double ring ceremony was solemnized by Rev. Charles McCoard pastor of the Methodist church of Meridian, and as the marriage vows were said, Harley and Blanche Hedges sang the duet “Because Your're You” by Herbert Spencer, Mrs. J. G. Burns, of Boise, accompanying them on the piano.
The bride, who is a sister of Mr. Chester Minden, of the Meridian High school faculty, was beautiful in a handsome gown of exquisite muslin and lace. She carried a shower bouquet of lilies of the valley and bride's roses.
After congratulations a dainty two course luncheon was served.
The bride is a graduate of the state university at Moscow and is a talented musician, while the groom is an enterprising young business man.
The happy couple have motored to Portland for a short honeymoon.

HUBERT. Emil Hubert, of Co. I of Payette, and Miss Josephine Pike, of Portland, Oregon, were married at the home of Justice of the Peace W. H. Peer, in Meridian, Wednesday evening, August 15. The couple are strangers in this vicinity. HUDSON. A marriage license was granted this week to Frank C. Hudson, of Meridian, and Mary Etta Needles, of Emmett. 31 Aug 1917, Meridian Times, Merdian, ID.

HUNT. Mrs. E. F. Hunt returned last week from Portland, Seattle, and Spokane, where she had been visiting. On October 7th, she attended the wedding of her son Fred to Miss Olive Robertson, of Juntura, Oregon. The marriage took place in Spokane, attended by the bride's parents and also Mrs. Helen Copeland of Portland, sister of the groom, and brother Frank. After the wedding Mr. and Mrs. Hunt left for Seattle, where they will make their home. Mr. Hunt has a position with the Washington Co-Operative Egg and Poultry Farm. 4 Nov 1927 Meridian News Times

Wedding of Mr. C.C. Minden and Miss Elizabeth Shaw
On Wednesday evening, June 20th, at 9:30 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Shaw, at Wiley's station, Collister, their daughter Elizabeth, was given in marriage to Mr. Chester C. Minden, of Meridian. Rev. Charles McCoard, of Meridian, performing the ceremony. The marriage vows were spoken under the arch of La France roses. The living rooms being beautiful with these roses, many being sent from Portland for the decorations.
The ring ceremony was performed during which an accompaniment on the piano was played. The bride was beautiful in a hand-made gown of Georgette crepe, trimmed with satin messaline and wore a veil. She was preceded to the altar by four small flower girls, nieces of the bride, and the little ring girl, who carried the ring in the heart of a La France Rose.
Sixty guests were invited, including the members of the High school faculty of this place. The supper was served by the recently graduated domestic science class of Meridian. After the wedding ceremony the bridal couple came to Meridian, where their home on Pine street is furnished.

PACK. Wedding of Mr. James Pack Jr. and Miss Bernice McIntyre
Mr. James Pack Jr. a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Pack, of Meridian and Miss Alice Bernice McIntyre, of Portland, Oregon were married at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Pack on Tuesday evening, at 7:30, by Rev. Dr. R. N. Donaldson, of Boise.
The ceremony was very simple, only the immediate family in attendance. The bride was dressed in a gown of cream silk tulle, lined with satin messaline, and a corsage bouquet of pink and white roses.
After the ceremony refreshments were served.
The bride was formerly a Boise girl, and has many friends in the city. Mr. Pack is one of our prosperous ranchers of McDermott, where he has a home for his bride. 22 Jun 1917, Meridian Times, Merdian, ID.

ROBINSON. Olin Oscar Robinson and Naomi Ada Cunning were married Tuesday night at 8:30 o'clock by Rev. Willie Martin, at 515 No. 15th St. Boise. After the marriage ceremony a wedding supper was served. Mr. and Mrs. Robinson will make their home at 12 and Washington streets. Mr. Robinson is in the employ of the Oregon Short Line. ROTHCHILD. In the presence of her relatives and the immediate friends of her childhood, Miss Anne Falk was last evening united in marriage to Samuel Marx Rothchild of Portland Ore. The ceremony was performed in the home of the bride by Judge George H. Stewart. Miss Belle Falk, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and Herbert Rothchild, brother of the groom, was best man. SHOOK. At Boise, Saturday, August 11th, Mr. Gaylord Shook, a member of Co. H, 2 Idaho, and Miss Floy Percifield, granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. S.M.C. Reynolds, were married. Both are popular among the younger set in Meridian, and the Times joins their host of friends in extending the best of wishes. SNYDER. Knight-Snyder Wedding
A very pretty wedding occurred near Meridian March 3d, when Esther Joy, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Knight was united in marriage with Herbert A. Snyder, of New Plymouth, at the home of the bride's parents.
Both the parents of the groom were present as well as those of the bride, while brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles and cousins were the attending guests. It is said there were 20 Knights at the wedding.
Julius Knight, the bride's brother, stood by the groom, and Vivian Sayder, sister of the groom, was the bridesmaid. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. H. F. Knight, the bride's grandfather, and Mrs. H. F. Knight was also present to witness the marriage of her granddaughter.
A bountiful wedding supper was served in the big farm house, and the evening was spent in rollicking festivity.
The day following the wedding the young people left for New Plymouth, this state, where they will make their future home. 9 Mar 1917, Meridian Times, Meridian, ID

TAYLOR. Frank N. Taylor and Ida M. Hurbert married
Frank N. Taylor sprang quite a surprise on his neighbors and friends Tuesday evening, Jan 23, when he and Ida F. Hurbert of Boise were married by the Rev. R. M. Donaldson, of the Presbyterian church at Boise. The ceremony was performed at the Presbyterian manse at 8:00.
Mr. Taylor is one our progressive farmers and live stock men, and owns a fine farm a short distance northwest of Meridian. The bride is well liked by many friends. She has been making her home at Boise for several years.
The couple left on the train Wednesday for Salt Lake City, for a honeymoon trip, and on their return will make their home on the Taylor ranch. 26 Jan 1917 Meridian Times, Merdian, ID.
