Some of the names are printed in blue/red, and these can be clicked on, as they have photos of the headstone and/or obituaries linked to the name. If you have more information about this person that you would like to share, it can be added to the link containing the photo. We welcome such items as obituaries, information on parents, siblings, or children. If you have a website with family history information about this person, we would love to link to your site.

There are some incorrectly linked photos on this page. Please report them. They can be repaired.

This is an updated (as of Aug 2006) copy of the USGenWeb database found at http://files.usgwarchives.net/id/ada/cemeteries/joplin.txt.

A map of the cemetery is located at http://www.usgwarchives.net/id/ada/cemeteries/joplin/joplin.htm. This map is the one that is accurate for the plot locations listed on this site. There is a different map located on the wall of the maintenance building in the cemetery, placed there in 2000. The sections have been renamed, and the names are listed in alphabetical order. The plots are numbered from the East end of the each section, and it is actually an easier system to use. If you plan to visit the cemetery, use either one system or the other, but do not try to combine the two.
